Goldscheider Vienna Rare Figurine: Lady with Shawl Designed Before 1937 Made circa 1937 Model number 8896 / 8 Hallmarked: Goldscheider Wien (= VIENNA) stamp mark / Made in Austria & Hand-decorated painter's sign existing Subject: A figure of a posed lady with shawl The slim lady standing upright is clad in elegant long dress which is rose red shaded. The woman holds a bright blue shaded shawl which corner is laid on lady's left elbow. Figurine's hairstyle is typical for the end of the thirties. Oblong cream white base existing. Finally, there is original Goldscheider's firm label visible - it is attached to base. Size: Height 29.5 cm (= 11.61 inches) Width 10.5 cm (= 4.13 inches) Depth 7.0 cm (= 2.75 inches) Bibliography: It seems that this figurine hasn't been published yet (= Rarity!). Condition: Very good (there is a tiny 'flea-bite' below lady's breast visible, apart from that there aren't any imperfections existing).
