Handmade Stoneware Coffee Set in the style of Guido Gambone, Italy, 1950s

About the Item

Mid Century Modern coffee set in the style of Guido Gambone. Made in grès and hand painted and decorated. The style in which they are made recalls the Vuillard Ceramics by Jean Derval or Gustave Reinaud or Michel Barbier. On the coffe set are represented different bird with essential and playful lines in brown shades on each element. Beautiful feeling of contrast to the touch between the material texture of the grès and the smooth one of the red enamel. Composed of 4 cups and a dairy, the set is in excellent condition and without any scratch. The cups are discreet size: 4cm high for 9.5 cm in diameter. The dairy instead is 14cm long for 7.5cm depth.; It houses a different bird with essential and playful lines in brown shades on each element.
