Italian Ceramic Mushroom Motif Serving Dish or Relish Tray in Green - Italy

About the Item

A beautiful example of Italian dipinto a mano, or hand-painted ceramics. This piece at first glance is reminiscent of an oyster tray or platter. It has five divided wells for serving your favorite crudités, dips, and salsas. Each well is decorated with olives in a verdigris hue of green on a crisp white background. The center of the serving platter features a ceramic pair of mushrooms to be used as a handle for easily passing around the table. Each mushroom is white with an olive green cap and black dots. The exterior rim of the serving piece is painted in an olive green around its scalloped edges. The bottom is marked in black with "Made in Italy" surrounding a crown with L G at the center. This a gorgeous piece to bring a bit of Italy into your next dinner party. Dimensions: 9" Diameter 3.5" Tall
