About the Item

A hand-painted Italian majolica cabbageware or lettuceware bird and cauliflower tureen with lid and ladle. This petite ceramic serving dish will be a fabulous addition to any table. It features a duck in yellow with an orange beak and black eyes. The body is glazed in green and white resembling green cabbage and creamy white cauliflower. The bird's head serves as the lid and opens to reveal a matching ladle that sticks out through a knot on the back of the bowl. The underside is glazed in the same creamy white and is signed Italy.
