Italian Neapolitan Hand-painted Blue and White Ceramic Albarello, 1800s

About the Item

This wonderful Albarello was found in a palazzo in Naples and dates from the mid 1800s. It would once have been used for herbal remedies or spices but today makes for a wonderful decorative piece and collector's item. It has beautiful rennaissance style blue hand painted patterns adorning the Albarello. When we found it, it had a small chip around the rim so we used our expert restorer here in Umbria to repair it. It is now a fully restored and glazed exceptional Neopolitan Albarello. .
