Jean Pouyat for Limoges Salad Plate Set in Gold and Pink, Set of 6, 19th Century

About the Item

A lovely set of Jean Pouyat for Limoges salad plates. In a crisp white porcelain, each plate features a gold, blue and pink filigree pattern with accents of green. The rim is scalloped around the edges with a Fine gold painted on the exterior. This set would be perfect to add to an existing collection of French tableware, or on their own. Bottom stamped in green: J.P. L. France J. Pouyat Limoges Dimensions: 7.75” diameter .75” tall.

    Wear consistent with age and use. Minor losses. Age-appropriate wear. Minor chips on some pieces, and some rubbing to gold on most pieces. One plate looks to have been repaired. (A hairline crack is apparent on both the bottom and top and is rough suggesting that an adhesive has been applied.).
