Studio Ceramic Tall Urn / Lidded Jar Signed Polk, 1971

About the Item

1970s tall studio terracotta jar / urn, uniquely thin with a removable lid. Hand-applied linear and geometric design with an attractive color palette of black, brown, beige, and red. Crude by design, the lid fits very snugly on the top (difficult to remove / reattach), and the friction of removing it over the years has caused some small spots of loss to the rim, as shown. Measures: Height (with lid): 15.25" Height (without lid): 11" D: 2.5" L: 6" Signed "Polk '71."
