Vintage Match Striker “Mugnier et Gauthier”
About the Item
This regal match strike is embossed with Burgundy red letters and gold trim on top and bottom rim. Match strikes were given to cafes, bistros and restaurants as an advertisements for products. This one in particular is for the famed Mugnier et Gauthier Distillateurs - Thiers. This handsome fella would make a bold statement on any desk as a holder for pens or use it as it was originally intended for that distinctive cigar smoker in your home. This is a showstopper and will become a wonderful conversation piece for any home.
