William Brownfield Majolica Leaf and Strawberry 9-inch Plate in Cobalt Blue, English, 1876, in highly desirable cobalt ground. Impressed mark to reverse 'BROWNFIELD' with date code: '7/76' for July 1876. In excellent antique condition, with no repairs, or restoration; slight crazing and a shallow chip to the back foot rim (inconsequential and does not adversely affect value). Measurements: Diameter 9 x height 1 inches. For over 28 years we have been among the Nation’s preeminent specialists in fine antique majolica.
