English Creamware Whieldon-type Gray Tortoiseshell Plate, Circa 1765-75 The octagonal shaped plate is covered to the front and back with a very pleasing gray tortoise-shell pattern. The rim is raised and the border has an unusual design of flowering plants. Dimensions: 7 3/4 inches diameter x 1/2 inch high (19.69cm diameter) (Ref: NY10133-ipa)
