Georgian Wine Glass Bristol Green Conical Bowl Knoped Stem, English circa 1815
About the Item
This is an excellent example of an early 19th century, English, hand blown, Bristol green wine drinking glass which we date to the George 111rd Regency period, circa 1815.
This glass has an elegant conical bowl with a bladed shoulder knop over a solid stem having a knife knop above a flattened basal knop. The stem sits on a plain foot with a good snapped-off pontil mark to the base, evidencing the hand blowing process.
The glass is a nice shade of Bristol green
