Georgian Wine Glass Bristol Green Rare Cylinder & Basal Knop, English circa 1815
About the Item
This is an excellent example of an early 19th century, English, hand blown, Bristol green wine drinking glass which we date to the George 111rd Regency period, circa 1815.
This glass has an elegant open round funnel bowl with a very interesting stem having a large basal knop with a rare cylinder knop above. The stem sits on a conical foot with a good snapped-off pontil mark to the base, evidencing the hand blowing process.
The glass is a nice shade of Bristol green
