Set of 8 Art Deco Ruby & Translucent Crystal Wine Glasses with 24kt Gold Overlay
About the Item
This stunning set of eight Art Deco wine glasses were realized in the United States circa 1940. They feature circular bases and faceted stems in translucent glass capped with spherical embellishment overlaid in 24kt gold. The chalice is fabricated in ruby red with a 24kt gold rim. One the body of the ruby cup is etched stylized grape vines and fruit including a grape leaf in 24kt overlaid yellow gold. With their beautiful attention to detail and exuberant form and palette, these cups promise to bring more than a touch of sophistication to any table setting regardless of the style of interior. They are in excellent vintage condition.
