This is a small vintage mortar and pestle. An English, Black Palmyra decorative treen or apothecary set, dating to the mid 20th century, circa 1960. Diminutive and delightful, ideal for display or use Displaying a desirable aged patina and in good order Palmyra stocks show fine grain interest and deep caramel hues Turned mortar with a bulbous body, broad rim and tapering foot Pestle turned into a charming baseball bat form This is a wonderfully petite vintage mortar and pestle, with appealing stocks and skilfully turned forms.
