Hall China Company Art Deco Westinghouse Refrigerator Blue Glazed Pitcher

About the Item

A stylish North American Art Deco Hall China Company blue glazed earthenware lidded refrigerator pitcher made for Westinghouse a leading manufacturer of refrigerators in the 1930's. Famed for their manufacture of teapots this stylish piece does emulate a teapot design with a handle and short pouring spout and top fitted cover and is often misidentified as such. The pitcher is streamlined with elegant yet simple clean lines and is decorated in a bright blue colour. The teapot has printed makers marks to the base. In good condition.
