About the Item

The set is hand decorated in Victorian style with ornamental blue and brown thistle flowers motifs on white background and gold trim on cake plates and syrup pitcher handles. The pieces are marked with green underglaze factory marks "Limoges W.G.&Co France" that date back to 1891-1900 and red decorator overglaze marks "Wm. Guerin &Co Limoges France" that date back to 1891-1932. The compote measures 2.15" in diameter at the base, 2.15" in diameter at the rim, and 5" high; the dessert plates measure 7.25" in diameter and 0.68" high, the bowls - 4.7" in diameter and 0.7" high, the cake plates - 9" in diameter and 10" across the handles, and the pitcher - 6.25" high with 3" diameter opening.
