MH Russian .875 Silver Cigar Box Trompe L'Oeil Wood Panels w/Gilt c.1886 (#6987)

About the Item

MH Extraordinary MH Russian .875 silver cigar box dated 1886, assay IYS (Ivan Yev Stigneev). This box features trompe l'oeil wood panels with realistic grain. The center of lid is engraved and has crossed Russian tax bands in gilt, and has an engraving on the front "Colorado" (see photos). This box measures 3 1/8" tall x 7 1/2" x 4 3/4" and weighs 23.85 troy ounces. It is in good vintage condition as shown in the photos. Incredible piece! 100% Satisfaction Guaranteed!.
