About the Item
A set of three vintage, mid to late 20th century octagonal shaped platters in silver plate by Italian maker Cassetti. The Cassetti firm was founded in Italy in 1926 by Renzo Cassetti. The three plates have strong Art Deco style lines and all are of beautiful scale with wonderful proportion. Two are of the same size (7" x 7" x .25") and another is of a smaller size (5.25" x 5.25" x .25"). 'Fatto a Mano', in other words Made by Hand. And yes, Cassetti was so proud of this that the company boldly stamped it right on the top of each piece. Serve yourself and your guests in style. Offer your calling card on any one of these three pieces. Enjoy a little bit of handmade craftsmanship.
