About the Item
Poseidon or Neptune with hippocampus. Glazed porcelain. Europe, 19th century.
Enamelled porcelain figurine with a circular base, decorated with openwork elements and rococo-inspired motifs enhanced with golden touches, which presents a semi-nude, bearded male figure, standing, with a purple and white cloak, accompanied by a half-horse, half-fish monster.
