Wonderful pair of handcrafted 19th century vases.
When it comes to truly stylish and beautiful pottery nothing is as attractive as the pieces that were being created in Europe around the turn of the century. The designs, the colors and the quality reveil that both the designers and the potters in those days truly were 'on the top of their game'. And people who could afford those striking pieces, were able to decorate their homes in the most beautiful way you can imagine. In this day and age we sometimes see new interiors (also of the 'well to do') and because everything is machine made they lack both quality and beauty and because of that some places just don't come alive. They lack the soul that true artisans are capable of creating in their pieces.
