Set of 12 Antique Meissen Porcelain 'Old Ozier' Pattern Cabinet or Dinner Plates

About the Item

A fine set of 12 antique, 18th century German porcelain plates. By the Meissen Porcelain Manufactory. In the Old Ozier pattern. Each plate has a gilt and slightly scalloped ring and is decorated with handpainted floral devices. Simply a great set of Meissen plates! Date: ca. 1760 Overall Condition: They are in overall fair, as-pictured, used estate condition with old professional repairs. Condition Details: All of the plates have sections of yellowing overpaint around the rim, scratches to the enamel and finish, . All plates have rubbing to the gilt rims. 4 of the plates have chips of some size to the footrim and 1 has repaired chips to the footrim. Otherwise, there are some fine and light scratches here & there and other signs of light wear consistent with age. Maker: Meissen Pattern: Old Ozier Marks: Each marked to the base with a blue underglaze Meissen crossed swords factory mark and an impressed number that varies by plate. Some of the numbers are '16', '14', '19', and '61' (not sure if this is one number or truly varying numbers) Measurements: Diameter: ca. 9 1/4 in. Height: ca. 1 1/8 in.
