William de morgan - EAGLE DECORATED 23CM DISHED PLAQUE C.1880S

About the Item

A superbly decorated 23cm diameter dish form plate designed by William De Morgan. This will date to the 1880s and shows an Eagle or similar amongst foliate decoration. There has been a minor and invisible restoration to the rim that does not in any way detract from this rare example. It is not signed to the reverse but very obviously is demorgan as well as being a recognised image.
