19th Century French Walnut Serving Tray with Great Carving

About the Item

Beautiful antique tray with beautifully detailed carvings. The theme is so sweet, with the horseshoes symbolizing good luck and the swallows symbolizing love and freedom. This theme is common in French arts at the end of the 19th century. The wood carvings are of a high quality, the flowers are also made with great feeling and very refined. The tray is made of walnut, the wood has a warm honey color and a beautiful antique look. A great piece of antique craftsmanship.
