An exceptional, fine and impressive, antique Georgian sterling silver sucket fork; an addition to our collectable flatware collection This exceptional and rare antique George III sterling silver sucket fork has a plain oval form. The oval spoon bowl is conjoined to a three-tined fork via a narrow stem, ornamented with plain shoulders. The surface of the bowl is embellished with the later engraved inscription 'Birdie 1891'. The reverse of this antique silver sucket fork features a rounded heel to the spoon's bowl. This exceptional sucket fork was crafted by the renowned flatware makers George Smith (III) & William Fearn. * A sucket fork is a small utensil used for eating sucket or sweetmeats. Condition This antique silver sucket fork is a superior gauge of silver, exceptional quality and in exceptional condition.
