Set of Candelabra and Candelholders, Silver and Gold Plated by Gorham

About the Item

A magnificent gilt table set, consisting of two three-branch candelabra, and four single candlesticks. The candelabra can be converted to large single sticks by removing the arm. The bobeches are removable for easy cleaning. The modelling and casting are well-designed, deep and crisp; very high quality work. They have been silver-plated and then gilded, by Gorham, who have applied their mark to the bases of all pieces. This gives a particularly beautiful colour. Condition is excellent. Candelabrum: 14" (36cm) Wide, 19" (48cm) tall Candelabrum as stick: 13" (33cm) tall, 6" (15cm) diameter. Candlestick: 10.5" (27cm) tall, 5" (13cm) wide.
