This English 1950s heavy sterling silver bracelet has 17 large three-dimensional charms and opens or closes with a heart shaped padlock on a little safety chain. Some of the charms have moving or opening parts. The windmill really turns, the lid of the beer mug opens, the ship opens up, the leaves on the orange are separate from the orange, the bellow bellows, the treasury chest opens, the corn has loose leaves and the scissors 'cut'. An exceptional, fine and impressive antique Elizabeth II English sterling silver cheroot case made by Boodle & Dunthorne; an addition to the ornamental silverware collection. This exceptional vintage Elizabeth II sterling silver cheroot case has an octagonal prism form. The surface of this vintage silver box is ornamented with impressive panels of engine turned decoration. Either end of the box is plain and unembellished. This vintage case retains the original sprung hinged hallmarked cover, with opens to reveal two gilded compartments. The interior of the cover retains the original gilding. By virtue of its size this versatile box could be used for a multitude of functions, including holding pencils/pens. Condition This vintage silver cheroot case is an exceptional gauge of silver, exceptional quality and in exceptional condition. The engine turned decoration is very sharp. Full hallmarks struck to the interior of the box and part hallmark to the interior of the cover are all very clear; the hallmarks are struck deeply due to the exceptional gauge of silver.
