Barbour/ International Sterling Silver Set of 12 Plates/ Chargers Orange Blossom

About the Item

International Sterling/ Barbour & Co. set of 12 sterling silver dinner plates or chargers in the Orange Blossom pattern number 1319C from the early 20th century. Each measures 12'' in diameter by 3/8'' in height and bears hallmarks as shown. Total weight is an impressive 202 troy ounces. The International Silver Company was formed in 1898 by various independent New England silversmiths that, between 1898 and 1903, joined themselves together to form a company that became the world's largest manufacturer of silverware. One of those silversmiths was Barbour Silver Co., whose hallmark is visible alongside the International Sterling hallmark on those chargers. The International Silver Co. was organized with an authorized capital of $20,000,000. We hand polish all items before shipping them out, but if there is interest for a professional polishing and/or engraving removal, we can take care of that for an additional charge and with delayed shipping.
