Peter Hertz Danish Silver Wedding Commemorative Spoon, 1992
About the Item
A very fine Danish Peter Hertz original boxed gilded silver spoon commemorating the silver wedding of Queen Margreth and Prince Henrik on 10th June 1992. The heavily made spoon has a rounded terminal relief moulded with a central monogram surrounded by elephants with a pierced gilded crown above. The reverse side with royal shields with other heraldic emblems and bearing the date 10 JUNI and dates 1967 and 1992. The spoon has a silver shaft and gilded bowl and is marked with silver and makers marks and numbered 542. The spoon comes complete in its original lined box with a printed information sheet and is one of two we have.
