About the Item
Gorgeous Silver Pair of Nicest Candlesticks of finest manufacturing quality as well as of most elegant appearance. - These candlesticks were made during HIGH VICTORIAN PERIOD (c.1875-80).
They are stunningly made in following manner: Surface of both candlesticks is excellently ornamented with chasing / chiselled work consisting of bulgings and curved lines / the candlesticks are attached to broad feet having scalloped edge. Additionally, each of the candlesticks has two arms with grommet of cylindric form type.

HIGH VICTORIAN STYLE
1. branded by two hallmarks having appearance of coat of arms (= possibly a town mark)
2. additionally, sign 'IX' with star and cross is engraved (= possibly a master's mark)
Design and style of these marks are pointing to a manufactory situated in Spain or Portugal.
