Unusual Art Nouveau Sterling Silver Lidded 'with Lion Motif' Powder Jar

About the Item

Unusual, Art Nouveau, sterling silver-lidded, cut crystal powder jar, Eastwood-Park Co., Jew Jersey, circa 1909-1915. The lid has a motif of two lions rampant holding a central cartouche in the form of a shield. The cartouche is engraved with the letter G. Flowers also swirl around the sterling silver lid. Underside of lid is gilded. Lovely cuts in crystal. Underside of jar is cut with an incised star. Measures: 3 inches high x 3 3/4 inches diameter (at widest point). In good antique condition.
