Art Deco Sterling Silver and Yellow Guilloche Enamel and Crystal Powder Jar
About the Item
Beautiful, Art Deco, sterling silver and yellow guilloche enamel-mounted cut crystal powder jar, Birmingham, England, 1929, Adie Bros. - makers. The yellow guilloche enamel that decorates the lid is designed to look like ribboned fabric. Crystal is beautifully cut, with an incised star on underside. Underside of sterling silver lid is gilded. Measures: 3 inches high x 4 inches diameter at widest point. Very tiny dimple in enamel (see photo) formed in the original enameling process. Black spots on silver are reflections. In very good antique condition.
