Victorian Period Sterling Silver-Mounted Glass Liquor Flask with Hinged Lid

About the Item

Victorian period, sterling silver-mounted glass liquor flask with hinged lid and removable drinking cup, Chester England, year-hallmarked for 1898, Cohen and Solomon - makers. Sterling silver bottom of flask (the inside of which is lightly gilded) is removable and can be used as a drinking cup. Hinged lid (the inside of which is also lightly gilded) has a bayonet closure. Measures 4 1/4 inches high (at highest point) x 2 1/2 inches wide (at widest point) x 2 1/2 inches deep (at deepest point). Dark areas in photos are reflections. In very good antique condition.
