Victorian Sterling Silver Mounted Enameled Green Crystal Lay-Down Perfume Bottle
About the Item
Beautiful, sterling silver-mounted, gold enameled, green crystal, lay-down perfume bottle, Woodside Silver Co., New York, Ca. 1896. Measures 4 3/4 inches long x 1 inch wide at widest point. Color of green crystal graduates from dark green to clear. Sterling silver hinged lid is decorated with swirls. Sterling silver mount has a ring through which a chain could pass if one wished to wear it. Upper part of inside of lid has a cork. Minor dent above hinge (see photos), commensurate with age and use - otherwise in excellent condition. Dark spots in photos are reflections.
