French faience puzzle jug, late 19th century. Beautifully detailed grape vine design. The puzzle jug was a popular form in the 18th and 19th centuries, challenging the user to drink the contents without spilling. They were formed with a hollow handle and rim around the top with a spout. Width including handle: 7.25 inches
