MCM Russel Wright Tea Service in Robin's Egg Blue

About the Item

Mid-century lifestyle influencer, Russel Wright believed, 'The table was the center of the home.' Now with ‘Mid-Mod’ all the rage again, Russel Wright’s American Modern Collection of dinnerware and server ware for Steubenville is especially sought after today for its timeless, organic, and sculptural design simplicity. This Robin's Egg Blue coffee/tea service exemplifies the collection’s graceful silhouettes, rounded corners, and neutral colors. Produced by Steubenville in the 1950s, Wright's iconic American Modern collection has since found its way into museums and art galleries around the world, and is today experiencing a resurgent interest among collectors.
