Hand decorated ceramic vase in "Flambé" technique, designed by Gunnar Nylund for Rorstrand, Sweden. The vase has 3 scenes with deer in a landscape. Details are highlighted with gold. Height: 10, Diameter 11".
Born in Denmark, Nylund (1904 - 1997) worked as an architect in the 1920's. He was hired at Rortstrand in Sweden in the 1930's and was a leading designer for the firm until the late 1950's.
