This Antique brass bound mahogany bucket was made in the Georgian period.
The mahogany body made of coppered slats that are secured by the fine brass banding.
It has a lift out brass liner, this was to be used for general use around important country homes, to take out ask from fires and other uses.
It has a swing brass handle.
These are beautiful and interesting items that can be used a paper bins by the desk or in a hearth, or just as a general accessory.
