Rare 1950s Childs Size Carousel Motorcycle

About the Item

This item is a lot smaller than it looks in the pictures. The handlebars are less that 2 foot tall. Its sized for a small child but has the proportions of a full size motorcycle. Thats what I like best about it. Its a 1950s Small Horex Motorcycle for Kids Carousel Ride. Mini cycle is painted yellow and orange with a brown faux leather seat. Has logo similar to Horex and is stamped "JLO" on the side. I am told that the engine did make sound effects but not sure how that works. The did nothing to the finish and left the original patina. Horex is a German motorcycle manufacturer. It was founded in 1923 by Fritz Kleemann in Bad Homburg vor der Höhe in Hesse. From 1935 to the mid-1950s, the company operated as Horex-Columbus-Werk K.G.,then as Horex-Werke KG.
