Set of 7 Mid-Century Era Painted Wood Carnival Folk Art Sign Box Letters
About the Item
This set of seven Folk Art wooden box letters were made in Canada is circa 1965 and were once mounted on a carnival sign for either a ride or an attraction. The letters are well constructed box letters with well supported joints and corners and the fronts have been hand painted with vivid red, blue and yellow bands. The letters vary in size with respect to width, but are each over a foot high and four inches deep. Most of the letters span ten and a half inches across, with the exception of the letter "V" which spans slightly over eleven inches.
