Mason Premier Grade Bluebill Drake, circa 1920
About the Item
Antique Mason Premier Grade Bluebill Drake Decoy, circa 1920, having head with glass eyes and carved mandible, nares and nail on bill, attached to hollow carved two part body (seam is visible), in original paint with some old touch-up to right side of body (along seam), and possibly to the black on small part on right side of head. The bottom has old filler and paint on the old screw holes weight was attached. This is a fat little butterball of a Scaup with a very peaceful, contented attitude.
