19th C Patriotic Flag Quilt & Red & Green Applique
About the Item
This fine early mid century patriotic applique crown of thorns variation and flags flanked in two corners is in very good condition. Comes from a private collection in Pennsylvania. Notice the appliqued red stars in the other side of the quilts corners. The quilt is done with fine quilting and very fine piece work. This quilt is a masterpiece of American folk art.
