This amazing 19thc hand applique and hand quilted Afro-American pictorial quilt is in fine condition. It is most unusual the pictorial appliqued birds,people and other animals resembles many of the published Afro-American quilts in many quilt books. These type of pictorial Afro-American quilts are found in the American Folk Art Museum in New York City.
