Carpenter's Square Quilt
About the Item
This Carpenter's Square is more complex than most. It has nine borders of slightly graduated sizes and more squares than one usually sees. It is nicely quilted with diagonal lines in the borders and small diamonds and squares throughout the body. The quilt has been professionally laundered. The quilt is somewhat out of square making it a little awkward to hang but it would be stunning on a double or queen size bed. It measures 80" x 84". Made in Pennsylvania; circa 1870's.
