Starbursts Quilt
About the Item
Starbursts are just the beginning of the patterning of this exciting quilt. Diamonds are filled with Robbing Peter to Pay Paul type circles that look quite different when used in half around the border. Red centers are strategically placed in the stars. The blue and ivory border chintz beautifully complements the printed fabrics of the interior. Tremendous care and planning combine to make this a superb quilt. Measures 80" x 88". Pennsylvania origin; circa 1850.
