Folk Art Church Model
We are proud to offer a wonderful example of a mid-20th Century folk-art church model. Built from scratch using various materials including Wood, Metal, Plaster, and fabric. Constructed in a miniature form with great proportions and detail. This example is mounted to a wooden handmade base, the model is crafted onto a wooden construction, Amazingly this models interior is filled with church decor including a full alter, church pews, stairs (leading up to a bell tower), a bell pulley rope, lights (not functioning as originally intended) and arched hallway. This model is a complete one-off, there is even a small trap door underneath its base which can be opened. It is quite simply a charming construction which shows a simple yet great craftsmanship quality across its exterior and interior.
