Early 20th Century Double Sided French Pharmacy Metal Sign A rare double sided pharmacy trade sign, origins of France, dated to the early part of the 20th century, made from metal with hand painted detail. The main hanging bracket are still firmly secure to the sign so it can be re-hung. With lovely scroll work italic writing on both sides, in its original colours. Size in inches approx.: H11” x W 22” x D 1” Origin: France Date: Early 20th Century Material: Metal Condition Report 1. Worn surface and loss of painted detail. 2. Worn and damaged metal section detail. 3. Rusted metal sections. 4. One side has more flaked paint to the bottom section as shown. This item is completely solid in structure and form. Obvious age is shown in loss of paint, chips, scratches and fading of surface in places. Rust is present as show in the photos provided especially across exposed paint less areas. Its exceedingly difficult to photograph all the areas of these pieces, therefore we strongly suggest reviewing all the photos provided as part of this advert and propose questions where sections are unclear to avoid disappointment upon purchase.
