Large Dogon ladder, Mali Wood Early to mid-20th century Measures: 68 x 13 in. / 173 x 33 cm With a textured, eroded patina, this ladder was originally used outdoors. Carved from a naturally forked tree, indoor versions wear to a smooth glossy finish while outdoor versions develop a deeply weathered patina. Custom mounted on a steel base that measures 12 x 12 in. / 30 x 30 cm
