Man’s Ceremonial Headdress Naga people, Northeast India Probably 19th century Cane, yellow orchard fiber, dyed goat hair plume A handwritten inventory tag on vellum, attached to the inside of the hat, suggests this conical hat was originally in a 19th century collection. Provenance: Phillips of London, November 27, 1998.
