19th century Regency Doré Bronze Chandelier

About the Item

Early 19th century candle and oil burning chandelier from an Irish manor house. Features include four sets of four linear beveled crystal chain hangers, 16 doré´ bronze candle arms, a fancy bottom finial and an elaborate canopy, all with molded flower and leaf decoration. The etched glass centerpiece vase has a thistle and wheat motif. See measurements below.

Condition:

Repaired: Repair to one arm done recently in house. Wear consistent with age and use. There is a small crack at the bottom of the base of the glass centerpiece. Because it is where the etching is done, it is hardly noticeable.
