2X Truss Chandelier Walnut Polished Brass
About the Item
The 2X Truss chandelier was designed by Rux in 2015 and is made in New York City, USA. Two octagonal forms constructed of polished cast brass and sustainably sourced or reclaimed wood are placed next to each other.
The X Collection transcends the line between lighting and furniture. It includes illuminated pieces that can function as tables, chandeliers, or pendant fixtures. Whereas previous Stickbulb lamps have relied on cantilevered bulbs to make different linear silhouettes, X Collection designs create graphic and structurally closed shapes inspired by hexagonal and tetrahedral forms in nature. The Truss chandelier is a linear configuration of 4 octagonal closed shapes. The wooden component is offered in sustainably sourced maple or walnut, reclaimed heart pine, ebonized oak, or reclaimed water tower redwood and the hardware finish is polished cast brass.

Stickbulb
Stickbulb is an award-winning lighting brand co-founded in 2012 by RUX Studios Founder and Creative Director Russell Greenberg and Managing Partner Christopher Beardsley as a way to combine their mutual love of architecture, modular systems, and sustainable manufacturing. Born from a pile of scrap wood, the principal objective of Stickbulb has always been to create more light with less waste. To this day the team makes desk lamps to room-filling installations out of wood from locally demolished buildings, dismantled water towers, fallen trees, and sustainably managed forests.
